In this quiet lesson, I share my design process for laying out a flourished calligraphy quote in Procreate, this time using a wide, textured writing tool: chalk. I’ve chosen one of my favorite lines by J. R. R. Tolkien, and used multiple chalk brushes and smudging tools for an organic, layered effect. This is a relaxing, start-to-finish process video without any talking, so pour a cup of tea and enjoy watching the strokes unfurl.
