Font License


The fonts I sell here on my website come with a standard desktop license. This means that the licensed font can appear in unlimited commercial and personal projects. There are still some restrictions, so please read the details below carefully.

Do use the licensed font for:

  • projects for clients,

  • physical end products,

  • social media,

  • broadcast,

  • branding and packaging,

  • paid ads,

  • print-on-demand products,

  • web and apps (but only in rasterized form*),

  • games (but only in rasterized form*).

* Rasterized type is type that appears as an image (made from pixels), rather than being “live” (editable).

Don’t:

  • resell or sub-license the font in a way,

  • resell any modification of the font,

  • make the font files public,

  • share the font files in any way with users who did not purchase a license,

  • give the font away for free to other users,

  • modify the font’s embedded copyright information.

In short: My fonts may not be resold or given away on any platform without my explicit consent.

  • Yes, absolutely! If you buy the font, you may install it on as many of your own devices as you wish. That includes mobile devices!

  • Yes! Depending on your device, you may need a third-party app to install fonts on your tablet, but it’s definitely possible and allowed.

  • Yes, you can use my fonts to create commercial work for clients. The end product must be in rasterized format, though, which simply means you cannot share the font file(s) with your client unless they also purchase a license.

  • Yes! You may use one of my fonts as part or all of the type in a logo design. See the answer above, though, regarding other limitations of commercial use. If you trademark a logo designed with my font, you may not enforce any rights on the font itself.

  • Yes. As the licensee, you can use the font in unlimited physical and digital advertisements for local, national, and global markets. If you are designing these ads on behalf of a third party, follow the guidelines in the “Can I use a licensed font for client work?” answer above.
