Studio Carta
This collaboration with Boston-based ribbon designer Angela Liguori of Studio Carta entailed creating custom calligraphy designs for ribbon and tissue paper. Angela worked with manufacturers in Italy to produce beautiful, thick ribbon with raised gold lettering, wound around wood spools. The tissue paper, decorated with the phrases “best wishes” and “with love,” is sold in the Studio Carta shop and used to package their orders for shipping.

Over the years, I have collaborated with Studio Carta on more than ribbon and paper. I’ve taught many calligraphy workshops in their cozy Boston space, and they generously hosted a book signing for my third book, Mastering Modern Calligraphy.
