Letters, Leaves & Acorns

Fall is rapidly approaching, although you wouldn't know it here in Los Angeles, where it has hovered in the 80's for the past couple weeks and even hit 100° last weekend. Nonetheless, I've already unpacked my apple spice candles, baked my first pumpkin pie, and moved some sweaters to the front of my closet. In the process, I was reminded of this fun order I did for an October wedding last year. I calligraphed guest names in brown gouache onto paper oak leaves, each of which was affixed with ribbon to a felted acorn from Fairyfolk. (Yes, the acorn caps are real!)
