Hey Diddle Diddle...

One of my very oldest friends is due to have a baby girl in October. Sadly, I couldn't make it all the way to Boston for her baby shower, but I still wanted to make a contribution. The party theme was children's books – each guest had to bring their favorite one – so I thought it appropriate to make bookmarks as favors. They're made of bristol paper and olive cardstock with grosgrain ribbon tassels, and in walnut ink, I calligraphed famous children's book lines on each one.
