Registration is now open for the third annual IAMPETH Virtual Calligraphy Summit. This two-day, online event will feature demonstrations by twelve calligraphers from around the world (including me!) followed by Q&A sessions. You can tune in live from anywhere in the world, plus access recordings of the presentations for a month. (There will also be a fun virtual After Party to hang out with the teachers and meet fellow lettering lovers!)

Flourished Procreate Layouts
I will be live on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. PST to teach and then answer questions. To register for my session, either purchase access to all 12 demos or purchase access to Demo Block 3 which includes just my session and two others. I highly recommend you get a ticket to the entire summit, if you can, because it will be packed with inspiring presentations (which you can watch live or later)!
Details about my lesson:
My lesson will be a guided demonstration of a flourished calligraphy layout using the Procreate app. You will learn how to combine lines of pointed pen calligraphy into a cohesive, wildly-flourished composition. I’ll share my design process every step of the way, including how to set up guidelines, make a pencil sketch, plot out flourishes, “ink” the calligraphy using a Procreate pointed pen brush, polish the final design, and even recolor it.
