Book Signing Events & Workshops

Today I’m wrapping up my three weeks in the U.S., and feeling overwhelmingly grateful for the calligrafriends – new and old – I saw along the way. It’s been a busy month of workshops, private lessons, and book launch events (with some late nights of supply kit assembly mixed in) starting in Los Angeles, stopping in Maine, and ending in Boston.

Thank you to everyone who made this trip so fulfilling, beginning with my awesome students, who never cease to inspire me, and are the people for whom I’ve written all my books. To everyone who came out to my book signings, each one of you left me brimming with gratitude for your support, and I loved hearing about all your calligra-journeys.

Smitten on PaperThe Meadow of Blue Hill, and Studio Carta hosted three packed weekends of events, and saw to making even the tiniest details perfect and beautiful. Melissa Chao’s handmade wreaths and table garland adorned my Boston events, and filled the space with gorgeous, autumnal greenery. ⠀

And finally, to those of you near and far who’ve been filling my inbox with kind words about Mastering Modern Calligraphy since its release on the 8th, you have no idea how much those little messages mean to me. Working on a book for two full years, and then one day releasing it to the entire world, is equal parts anxiety-provoking, thrilling, and surreal. Hearing your feedback has been simply wonderful.⠀
